Zu Gast am 25. Mai 2022: Anna Scherbyna, in Zaporizhzhia/Ukraine geboren, war Teilnehnehmerin der Kunstgruppen „Iod“ und Concrete Dates Collective. Mit ihrer Praxis untersucht sie das kritische Potenzial verschiedener Medien. Ihre Arbeiten behandeln ein breites Spektrum an Themen, darunter Naturlandschaften und deren politische Konnotationen. She works ist eine Gesprächsreihe von Antonia Low und Cindy Cordt im KulturKiosk von Sara Dahme. Mit wechselnden Gesprächspartner*innen und dem Publikum entsteht ein Austausch über das künstlerische Dasein im Politischen, dieses Semester überschattet durch den Ukraine-Konflikt. Wir reden über Zweifel, radikale Entscheidungen, Handeln, helfendes Netzwerk und unseren strapazierten Optimismus.

Guest on 25 May 2022: Anna Scherbyna, born in Zaporizhzhia/Ukraine, was a member of the art-groups Iod and Concrete Dates Collective. In her practice she examines the critical potential of different media. Her works cover a wide range of topics including natural landscapes and their political connotations. She works is a series of talks by Antonia Low and Cindy Cordt hosted by Sara Dahme at KulturKiosk. It aims to bring together various guests and the public to discuss the artists’ political practice – currently overshadowed by the Ukraine conflict. Participants are invited to talk about possible doubts, radical decisions, action, helping networks, and maintaining optimism.
