Dies soll durch das Spiel mit vermeintlich weiblichen und m&auml;nnlichen Attributen ausgedr&uuml;ckt werden. Einen Hinweis auf den feministischen Background (alternativ: Hintergrund) der dargestellten Person soll das vom Modell selbst ausgew&auml;hlte Buch &raquo;Soll man De Sade verbrennen&laquo; der franz&ouml;sischen Philosophin Simone de Beauvoir, welche mit ihrem Werk &raquo;Das andere Geschlecht&laquo; einen Meilenstein des feministischen Diskurses und Kampfes schuf, geben. Wie auch das folgende Selbstportrait des Malers steht dieses Gem&auml;lde in der Tradition der europ&auml;ischen Portraitmalerei, die vorrangig dazu diente den Status und die Rolle eines Menschen in der Gesellschaft zu betonen. Diese Eigenschaft erf&uuml;llt auch dieses Gem&auml;lde, allerdings unter umgekehrten Vorzeichen, da es hier nicht darum geht, die von der Gesellschaft vorgegebenen und daher vom Individuum angestrebten Status und Rolle wiederzugeben, sondern andersherum, der Gesellschaft die vom Individuum selbstbestimmte Rolle und Selbstdefinition zu vermitteln.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n
