Im Zuge ihrer Bachelorarbeit hat Marta Mazzuconi dieses Videos hergestellt, in dem die Buchstruktur und einige kodikologische Merkmale f&uuml;r die museale Pr&auml;sentation und Vermittlung der illuminierten Handschriftgezeigt im Museum gezeigt wird. Sie zeigt Merkmale der Buchstruktur, einige der Materialeigenschaften der Pergamente, Miniatur und Schrift, und zeigt dabei auch das &Ouml;ffnen des 10,5 kg schweren Buches in einer Buchst&uuml;tze sowie das Wenden der Pergamentbl&auml;tter entsprechend einer konservatorischen Handhabung. Die Ergebnisse der mit R&ouml;ntgenfluoreszenzanalyse identifizierten Farbmittel werden einbezogen. Das Video ist in Zusammenarbeit mit Carsten Fuhrmann (Werkstatt f&uuml;r Audiovision und Video am Studiengang Kommunikationsdesign) entstanden.<\/p>\n\n        <\/div>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n\n    <div class=\"block block-text\">\n        <div class=\"fs-text\">\n            \n<p><em>The Alsfeld Missal: parchment, azurite and gold<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The Alsfeld Missal, owned by the Alsfeld Town Museum, is a richly illuminated late medieval manuscript from 1501. As part of her bachelor&rsquo;s thesis, Marta Mazzuconi produced this video showing the book structure and some codicological features for the museum presentation and communication of the illuminated manuscript. It shows features of the book structure, some of the material properties of the parchment, miniatures and script, and also shows the opening of the 10.5 kg book in a book support and the turning of the parchment leaves according to a conservation handling. The results of the colorants identified by X-ray fluorescence analysis are included.
