DAAD-Scholarship
Students who are enrolled at a German or a foreign university who wish to undertake a student exchange, and who meet all of the requirements, can apply for a DAAD Scholarship. The DAAD is the world’s largest funding organisation supporting students and researchers; their aim is to provide young people in Germany and abroad the opportunity to gain international academic and research experience. If you wish to apply for a DAAD Scholarship, any inquiries about the application process, deadlines and other organisational questions should be directed to the Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst (DAAD).
If you want to apply for the DAAD Scholarship you will have to apply to the DAAD as well as, at the same time, to a German university of your choice. If you wish to apply to the ABK Stuttgart as a DAAD Scholarship applicant, you must follow the application procedure and deadlines as explained below. Applications must be sent to the department secretary from the department (e.g Fine Arts) you wish to apply to.
If your application for a DAAD Scholarship and your application to the ABK Stuttgart are successful, you must let the international office know. You will receive further information about your studies and what you should do next, including accommodation and fees, from the Office of Foreign Affairs.
