Erasmus+ Staff Mobility
Inhalt
As part of Erasmus+ Staff Mobility, teachers and staff at ABK Stuttgart have the opportunity to teach abroad or participate in further training abroad.
Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA)
The Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for Teaching Assignments (STA) programme promotes guest lectureships at partner universities in Europe.
Goal
During their stay, visiting lecturers should strengthen the European dimension of the host university, supplement its range of courses, and impart their specialist knowledge to those students who cannot or do not wish to study abroad. This should include the development of joint study programs between the two partner universities and the exchange of teaching content and methods.
Prerequisites
The following groups of people are eligible for STA funding:
- Professors and lecturers who have a contractual relationship with the university
- Research assistants
- Doctoral students who are involved in teaching
- Lecturers
Stays abroad must last at least two days and include at least eight hours of teaching.
A prerequisite is that an Erasmus cooperation agreement (Inter-Institutional Agreement) exists between the ABK Stuttgart and the partner university.
Important: Funding for mobility to the country of primary residence is excluded!
Reporting
After completion of the measure, a report must be prepared using the Mobility Tool+.
Funding
- Maximum of five working days
- Fixed daily rates (amount depends on the different costs of living in the destination countries)
- Travel costs (depending on actual distances between the starting point and destination of the mobility)
Application
Before applying, please contact the ABK International Office directly. If you are planning a stay abroad during the winter semester, please do so by April 15; for the summer semester, please do so by November 15. The application process consists of the following steps:
- Consultation with the planned partner institution
- Registration on Mobility Online (ABK)
- Confirmation from the partner university
- Registration and application process via Mobility Online (KOOR – Erasmus Services BW)
