The conference is held as inauguration of the 1st issue of „ICAR – International Journal of Young Conservators and Restorers of Works of Art” and as a part of commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw’s foundation.

11th of May: presentations by authors of articles in the 1st issue of ICAR, accompanied by a discussion panel on publishing of academic papers. 

12th of May: students and academic staff from the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart and the Faculty of Conservation and Restoration of Works of Art of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw will present their latest projects under a general topic “Honouring the Past, Entering the Future”. This part of the conference will be accompanied by a poster session.
