We warmly welcome you to the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.
The “Akademie.Start” programme provides you with initial information to help you get started with your studies. There will also be a guided tour of the collection and the archive, as well as an information session on the Academy’s digital services and platforms.
We’re glad you’re here – and wish you a great start to your studies!
Welcome event for first-year students
The welcome event for first-year students will take place on 19 and 20 October 2026.

In addition to face-to-face teaching, the ABK provides a range of digital services and platforms. As part of this, we are organising a virtual information session for new students.
