Facilities
- Spacious studio with plenty of natural light, a flash system and a computer workstation for image editing
- Black-and-white darkroom for film processing and workstations for producing prints
- Analogue and digital camera equipment up to 4×5 inches
Course Content
The workshop teaches the fundamentals of analogue and digital photography, from taking the photograph to printing it; it offers advice and assistance with the realisation of photography projects; and sees itself as a forum for students who wish to deepen and specialise their interest in photography and its creative possibilities.
Range of courses
Introductory Course in Photography:
Camera and shooting techniques, analogue and digital black-and-white film and paper development, divided into theory and practical sessions.
Reproduction Workshop:
For students on all degree programmes who wish to reproduce their work professionally for applications, calls for entries and documentation.
Practical seminars on varying and open-ended topics, e.g. historical photographic processes and portraiture.
